crimson sunset

crimson sunset

You are my crimson sunset,
Beyond the moon's smile,
You set my heart alight,

Look upwards into the night sky,
And count the gossamer stars you see,
These are a mere fragment of how you are loved.

You are my sunrise,
My shades of orange,
You are my gorgeous autumn day,
After summers destruction.

You are the music, words and images,
That rips my soul into a crimson-orange sunset,
You make my breath exquisite,
At the edge of time.

Our ephemeral life dictates passions, emotions,
Not a stricter tempo,
And it is full of the consequential aromaticness of you.
